After purchasing a Colt 6720, I find that due to the light barrel, it jumps around a bit more when firing. With the plethora of muzzle brakes out there, I'd love to hear from THR members what works best for them. Price isnt a huge issue, so long as it isnt triple digits.
My parameter's are simple.
1. Well reduced muzzle climb
2. Flash signature that isnt *worse than a standard A2 cage
3. A design that doesnt blow your own earmuffs off with side/back blast
I tried the Rainier XTC and the sideblast was brutal. Made the rifle sound twice as loud, through 32nrr earplugs! As the shooter, I actually felt the blast hit me...
