I'm thinking of getting a pertador rifle, right now I'm looking at the Bushmaster Pertador and the Rock River Pertador . Both have 20" barrels RR is in stainless and the Bushy is black don't know if its SS or carbon. I realy like the looks of the Bushmaster But I have only had one of the carbines anfd thats been years ago. I have had a RR NM and it was a great shooter. So whats your thoughts one these guns and is there one that might work better. I was going to use this rifle for target / small game hunting.

I would go with the Bushmaster. I bought one 3 years ago and never had any problems with it. I love it. They make quality rifles and they work very well.

Food for thought...
RR has a 3/4" guarantee on some of their varmint guns. Not sure if Bushmaster does or what it is if they do.

I have a Bushmaster Varminter and a RR Predator Pursuit, if I had to pick one over the other I would choose the Rock River, much tighter groups, much easier to get those groups and much less picky about ammo.

Don't all the RRAs come with their two stage trigger now? If so, and the price is close, that's something to think about. A better trigger is going make it easier for you to let the rifle shoot better groups, if that makes sense.
