I own a PWA rifle that I built from a stripped lower. The only thing I can tell you about the company is that they are no longer in business, closed up, and quit manufacture as of March 31, 1996. I don't think they had any relationship with OLY, other than that of competitor. Of course, since their demise anyone might assume their name for a division, ..maybe Oly did. Now I do Know that Olympic had used the name and SGW Crest on some of their lowers.
I could not tell you much anything else about the quality of their product, since the balance of my rifle is 100% Colt, by choice. The lower seems to be of reasonable quality, but then again that is not really a stressed part of the rifle. The important part is that the piece is dimensionally correct and the finish is adequate, which is the case in my specimen.
