Hi first post here I bought a complete lower and now I need an upper, the choices so far are Rock River Arms, and Stag is there one that is better that the other? Does anyone have any other suggestions?

I did the same thing here in Texas and went with a RRA upper, but with a Wilson heavy barrel. It is great!

It really depends on what or how much you want to spend I would guess

I would go with the RRA right now, has been mentioned on the internet that Stag is having a few quality control problems lately....but, either one would be just fine and also check out DPMS, another good bang for the buck...

Welcome to THR

Go with the RRA...

I have had great luck with DPMS, but some folks have not. I have not heard anything bad about RRA. Bushmaster is also good, but I personally feel that they are over priced. If money is not an issue, one of, if not the best, is Lewis machine and tool. They make top notch stuff.

Hope this helps

RRA uppers are a tight fit on many lowers. Despite what some might tell you, Model1Sales have some excellent offerings. I would give them a look before making a final decision.
