ar15 : a2 waver work for a3 handle?

i was wondering if the a2 detachable weaver on top of the handle will work with the a3 removable handle? are there any weavers that can work without blocking the factory iron sights?

Yes! with the handle removed, use high rings to bring the scope up to
eye level. With the handle left on, there is a base that mounts on
the hole in the handle that allows an under the mount sight for your
open sights. The scope is mounted above. Also is a copy of the
the old Colt scope with the mount a part of the scope that also mounts
on the handle using the hole in the handle. It also provides a sight under
for open sights. You won't see the front sight assembly looking through
the scope.
