So I've been using the search function and looking at reviews of AR15 appropriate scopes. I just finished reading this one all the way through: http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_3_18/421244_.html
What I have not found are many comparos of the Leupold VX-R Patrol 1.25x4 with other similar ones... I will say that right now, that is my favorite scope for short to intermediate ranges. Excellent reticle with motion sensitive fire dot. BIG eye box. Long enough eye relief to feel quite comfy putting one on an '06. I will be buying one for one of my rifles this spring
But what else is out there that competes on price and features?
Anything decent at slightly less money ...
I kinda like the Weaver Tac, but the price is annoying ...
