On the Comedy Channel. A spoof on "Cops" that is so tongue-in-cheek that I am wondering if it was INTENDED to cast some light on the Thin Blue Line.

Last night's episode about the psychotic 15 yr veteran's "party" where they hung up a pinata and he failed to hit it even with the blindfold OFF with his Beretta (and then covered the diving spectators by turning around with the loaded gun) has to be a classic. Of course the cops were all out in the desert drinking beer at the time.

I wonder how long the police departments will allow this "more than a grain of truth" expose' of civil service to remain on the air.

I watch every one. It's hysterical. :)

"Are we going to catch every bad guy? No. Are going to catch half? Probably not. Are we going to catch any? I'm optimistic." LOL!

I only saw the trailer for that episode. The maroon had his foot on the pinata while he was shooting at it!:what: :banghead:

It's a comedy, a parody...he wasn't actually shooting at it with a real gun. The fact that he's a moron is part of what makes it funny...or at least I thought it was funny.

I love that show!
Officer Dangle is my favorite.

I liked it when one officer gets thrown thru a glass door but the camera crew didn't get it on tape. They said "Let 'em loose again; you know there gonna fight". So they do and they get it on tape.

Reno 911 was hilarious the couple of times I saw it.

"Sir, that's for dead people, not living idiots."
"Some say shoot to kill, others say shoot to maim. I say empty the chamber and
let the Lord decide."

I think the most accurate part of last night's episode was right at the end.

"Are you OK to drive?"
*pause*"Yeah, I'm OK."
"How much have you had to drink?"
"Oh, about 11 beers and a couple of cosmopolitans."
everyone in the car: "Yeah, you're OK to drive."

Reno 911 is the funniest show on television right now.

And it's gun-related; anyone else see the "Teaching school children about guns" part? Damn, that was hilarious.

Officer J. Dangle/ I'm like a cheetah, ...........A law enforcement cheetah......:D / commenting on the department allowing him to wear shorts as part of his uniform.

the prostitution stings are great.

"okay, heres the money. what do i get for it?"

"a LOT."

"what do i do?"

"just close your eyes..."

prostitute smashes a lamp over officers head and walks out.

I especially loved this part, when the deputies were finishing Garcia's 15 year anniversary party off at the strip joint....

Stripper: (overhearing the other officers) James Oswaldo Garcia?

Garcia: Yep, that's me.

Stripper: Daddy!

ROTFLMAO

Due to my work schedule, I have only seen it once, but the commercials alone are enough to make me giggle.

I liked where the guy was talking about "Silence of the Lambs" and said "I thought about being an FBI agent once... for about 15 minutes. Of course, I was drunk at the time. I also thought about making a dress out of women for about 15 minutes."

:D

I think it should win an emmy or two as the best comedy show on TV

I watch every episode and usually watch the repeats too.

The opening scenes from the dash cam are always great.
