Are crossbreed holsters worth the wait?

I'm looking for a comfortable and concealable, preferably tuckable IWB for a M&P9 and maybe a 1911 in the future.

I have a High Noon Split Decision that I bought back when holsters for the MP were more scarce. It gets the job done, but it's not very comfortable nor sturdy in either a retention or stability sense. I'm looking for a better IWB and crossbreeds look really good. Are they really?

I just purchased two.
One for my Kahr p-9 and one for my wife who carries a .38 spl.
I haven't had much of a chance to try mine, because honestly I don't have any pants large enough to accommodate the IWB holster. (Gonna have to buy some)
My wife isn't real happy with hers. It's seems almost all the holsters we have tried cause the gun to ride real high.

Crossbreed is great. Very concealable and comfortable. I carry a S&W 908 and can carry all day long. It's not a full size but you should be fine with a compact or semi compact auto. Can't notice even with jeans and a tee shirt. Well worthg the wait and it is also adjustable so you can wear riding high or conceal more IWB. You won't be disappointed.

I'm still waiting for my CWP, so I'm not carrying all the time, but I got a crossbreed supertuck or whatever the tuckable one is, and I like it so far.

I love the extra leather around the kydex slide holster, it protects the gun from me and me from the gun, especially if I need to run out w/out an undershirt. It fits the G19 well, and I got it because I was thinking I wanted another gun, a G26 for when wearing lighter clothes w/ that smaller grip and all.

At first, I was concerned about a quick accurate draw, since I was used to the belt slide that came w/ the Glock, since the grip is easier to grab on the belt slide, and the crossbreed leather slightly gets in the way (partially due to my body shape, I'm a big dude) when I go to grab the weapon, my finger tips hit the leather (but they would hit my skin w/ any other holster keeping the gun that close to my body) as I reach around the grip to grab the gun. But having it that close makes it concelable, which means I'm more likely to have it on me.

So, to be sure, since he warantees them for satisfaction, I took it w/ me to shoot IDPA, which I've been doing w/ the Glock combat holster for a few months now, and while it is a little tighter, I didn't have any mishaps drawing and firing while on the clock, and for me, posted some decent scores. I was wearing a comfortable loose fitting polo shirt, jeans, and the crossbreed IWB, and I was easily lifting my shirt, grasping and drawing the weapon, and moving right into a shooting grip/stance w/out much issue. I wanted to practice this to make sure it was a realistic carry option.

I did notice w/ the extra tension from my belt, I did have to 'get the hang of' reholstering. W/ no pressure the gun easily 'clicks' into place w/ the dimple in the kydex snapping into the trigger guard for mild retention. However, under tension of the belt keeping my pants on, I sometimes had a hard time getting the gun back down into the holster, and was concerned for a minute, but then I realized that the pressure from my body (again, big dude) was pushing the leather guard piece at the top out a little crossing the vertical plane, so when I was going to reholster, the leather would catch my gun somewhere, probably the extended mag release that came on the gun, so all I did was extend one of my fingers off the grip, as I rehosltered, to push the leather back against my body a little, giving the gun clearance to snap right into place. I shot several stages that night at IDPA, and had no problems, and was quite happy w/ my ability to draw and shoot w/ a real-world concealable holster, making me feel comfortable to carry this gun and holster combo.

I'm gonna bring it again to an IDPA practice and borrow a friend's G26 to see if in fact it works as well with it, if so, I'll be very happy, since I want to get a 26 sometime, and one of the main reasons I went w/ the crossbreed, for the versatility to holster guns of the same family w/ different barrel lengths...

Good luck. It did take a while to get it, but hey, my CWP is still not here yet, and I submitted that application before I ordered the crossbreed, and it got here first.

BTW, I also bought the split decision, and like it for what it is. I wanted a small, easy to grab, easy to put on and remove, IWB and tuckable holster, for versatility. But since I wanted a holster to rely on as a main carry piece, and wanted it to work w/ both the 26 and the 19, I bought the crossbreed. I didn't want to spend too much money on a holster that would only fit my 19, but also wanted the extra holster, so when I get the 26, I'll still have another holster for the 19. So, I got the split decision for $35+ for taking the gun in and out of the range bag, drawer, console, and to throw on real quick when needed. But I wanted something like the crossbreed w/ more leather between me and the entire gun, and one that fit different barrel lengths. I also looked at the CTAC, but I chose the crossbreed because I thought it looked simpler, and felt I would like the leather pressing into me more than the kydex, while still having the kydex slide that fit diff guns and made for easy reholstering...
