It depends.
Does "throw them off" mean "effective camo that throws them off your trail", or does "throw them off" mean "set them off - set their alarm off by allowing them to see you better"?
If the former, then yes, pink camo does, and is better than blue.
If the latter, then no, pink came does not, and is better than blue.
Reddish/orangish/pinkish ==> Good for the hunter; bad for the ungulate
Blueish/violet, etc. ==> Bad for the hunter; good for the ungulate.
Some people think that deer can see ultraviolet and the far end of the visible violet colors.
