Is it safe to shoot jacketed soft point ammo in my GLOCK 19?

I had read that lead bullets aren't safe for GLOCKs but I wasn't sure about JSP.

How good is "Federal British Military" 9mm? 95 gr. seems rather light for a 9mm.

Glocks just can't have any lead touching the barrel. JSPs don't have that much lead exposed.

95 gr is pretty light, but it should probably work, and will probably cycle the action if it's loaded hot enough. Main thing is when you go really light and hot, you can erode the barrel throat, but that's more of an issue with rifles.

I'd reserve that stuff for plinking only, though.
