Are there any decent 6 inch long (or so) scopes?

I have a rifle that is simply a fun rifle. Not hunting or serious target usage - just something to plink around with. That being said, i want the rifle to have a certain look to it. To accomplish that look, I want a super short scope. The front runner right now is the nikon p223 @ 8 inches long (its a fixed 3x). I would prefer at least a 4x if not more, but since this is purely a fun gun i am going to be particular about the look.

Any 6 ish inch scopes out there that are decent?

Maybe not exactly what you asked for, but a red dot scope fits at least some of your criteria: short, and great for plinking. I like them for quick shooting, and they mount well on exposed hammer guns, as they are short enough to allow access to the hammer without using a spur.

just my $.02

That's pretty short.
Go to www.swfa.com and check out the different scopes as they are very good about giving the weight and length of the brands they carry which are numerous.
