They get that wrong, then nothing else matters. I care about other things, but being antigun is a DQ for me. Period.

If I have two pro gun candidates running for the same office, then I will look at other issues after the 2nd... Hope this helps!

There are very few candidates that do not support gun control to some extent. For that matter, there are very few RKBA proponents who don’t support some degree of gun control.

Pro Civil Liberties, Pro Gun... liberal and proud! I vote Democrat, but I'm a member of the NRA. We do exist... I suspect there are more lurking around here somewhere. I want the Democrats (and republicans) to drop anti gun laws along with a lot of other hot button issues. We all know they are just trying to manipulate us with their agendas and frame the debate in their terms.

Think we have a free market? Think again! How much do you buy that gas for? $2.50 a gallon? How much is it WORTH? How much do you think the government subsidizes that oil? How much more money do we save by putting political and military pressure on oil producing countries? How much money is our fresh air worth?

It's time we started paying the full cost of everything we consume instead of just exploiting people and our environment. How about that crap you bought at walmart? Does that starving chinese indentured servant deserve to be paid $0.20 an hour? How much do you think you saved by buying plastic trinkets from a country with no environmental regulations so they could pump their plastic chemicals into the river and into the air, only to pollute the whole planet? Is that free market capitalism? Or is it CHEATING?

Look, I'm guilty! I drive a car... I buy chinese crap... but I at least am not fooling myself that it's the RIGHT thing to do. I'm not content with that.

What are the true costs? What are the real values?

I don't claim to have any easy solution... but this is the problem we, as a Nation, and as a World, need to be looking at! Anything else is just petty squabbling.

I vote based on a politicians stand on the constitution. I consider the 2nd Amendment to be the keystone of the constitution. The persons position on it tells me everything I need to know to make a voting decision.
