Has anyone tried that .22 conversion kit for the Browning Hi-Power, the one that is made in Argentina?

I'm thinking of ordering one for my "Made in Belgium, assembled in Portugal" 9mm Hi-Power.

I was wondering how the kit functioned.

I got one of them conversion kits, they are okay. The construction is a bit coarse, more so than FM's pistols. The front sight was not square. The most annoying thing was that there is a piece of the slide milled off where it would cover the sear pin, and allows the sear pin to walk out if it is not tight in there. Why they did that I do not know, it makes no sense for them to have machined that piece off. You either have to fab a little cover, stake the sear pin in place, put some kind of goop in there, or push the pin back in every so often. I had to carve on the mag a bit to get it to fit in the mag well. The conversion kit is mostly reliable and somewhat accurate, though the rear sight is a plastic job that slides around a bit, I had to peen mine a bit so it would stay in place. I have been meaning to find a steel sight that would fit. So I guess it is okay, although most other brands offer better for the same price (though they do not offer browning kits, except for cienier that I am readily aware of), and need a little work (though not an impossible amount) to make them decent.
