If you're looking at price, the Israeli FN Hi Powers are a better deal. I've seen a lot of good comments from buyers.

Hes looking for the Detective Slide model, not the full size. I would like to have a Detective slide for my Hi Power aswell.

Me too. Several outfits were importing just the FM slide/barrel assemblies only a year or two back. Now, it's all dried up.

Yeah you do not see them very often anymore. The ones I have seen lately are priced way too high.
