So is it even worth hunting coues deer along Ruby Road in this unit this year, or will the fire have devastated the area too much? I got drawn for the middle hunt, and I am trying to determine which portion of the unit might be the best place to start looking.

It burned out the underbrush and helped to provide fertilizer to the ground so new grass can grow.

Plenty of new grass will be up before the season starts. Deer and elk usually go back in to the area in a week or two after a fire. You should be fine.
