Many thanks to those of you who tested Blue Wonder Armadillo last fall and early this year. Thanks to the feedback from you and others, Blue Wonder Armadillo is now a reality. We now have a warehouse full of shinny Armadillo jars waiting for new homes!

To those of you who haven't seen it, you can find info at http://www.bluewonder.us/BlueWonderArmadillo.html

Thanks again to everyone for their feedback and participation in this development process! Once again, a product developed by shooters, for shooters!

I know what I like, and I like Armadillo! I have used this stuff on a number of firearms, and their grips. I was very pleased with the results.

I've used it on a revolver. Its somewhat like the turtle wax of guns. Don't put the stuff on the front of your cylinders. The blast marks are a pain to clean on a SS wheelgun. Also seemed attract more gunk and left a wierd residue.

I also used it on a Sig. I like it better on the Autos. I got better results.

Not a bad product.

The little sample that they send you will last you a long long long long time. I got one 3 months ago and the stuff keeps going and going and going......:D

Thanks for the feedback!

When we sent the initial test samples out, we received a lot of feedback from the people who tried it. We made some modifications based upon the feedback we received and the "production" Armadillo is much improved over the samples we sent out.

Thanks again! The feedback you guys present has a lot to do with where we head in our product development!

I was quite happy with my sample. I tested it twice with my FAL.

It collected less grit and dust than Breakfree or Mobil-1. I honestly can't figure out how because...

It stayed slick for quite a while. Even after a shooting match and one month of sitting in my basement, most of the rifle looked like I had just applied it.

It doesn't smoke. Breakfree and Mobil-1 both smoked a bit around the gas tube and barrel after some mild rapid-fire, but Armadillo didn't.

The only downside I found was that I noticed some eye irritation while working with the open bottle directly beneath my head. It felt like someone had left a cut onion out.

Don't do that...

Hey Mikul, Thanks for the feedback. Your comment about working with the open bottle right next to your head reminded me of the story of the guy going into the doctor and saying "It hurst when I do this!" And, of course, the doctor says "DON'T DO THAT THEN". :D

But seriously, the product is not hazardous so there is no need to worry. But if the fumes from the wax bother, certainly use the product in a better ventilated area. There really isn't much odor to it, but there can be fumes that come off the wax.

Keep up the good reports!
