'Armageddon' Plan Was Put Into Action on 9/11

You know, someone posed a question: "who else was loading mags...?"

The sad part is, I know a guy who has a "domestic violence" conviction. He was never "into" the 2nd Amendment. He has 3 children. After 9/11 he called me up and said, "hey, what do I need to purchase a shotgun?" I said, "sorry buddy, but I don't think you legally can now with DV on your record." Obviously visions of riots, plunder and choas raced through his head and he had serious and real concern for his children's safety.

The 2nd Amendment is like so many other things: you don't know what you have until it's gone!

I wonder how many other people like him, who has no other criminal record whatsoever, cannot legally buy a firearm? Or maybe I'm wrong about this?

I have students who were convicted of felonies as juveniles. They were all pretty disappointed when they went to buy their first rifle at age 18, only to be turned down. :( Hindsight would be an excellent asset.
