Just picked up an ArmaLaser RSS for my Kel-Tec PF-9.

It can be set for "steady" or "pulse"

Any thoughts on which would be better to use?

It's subjective. Depends all on what YOU like better. I like both but honestly the pulse tends to catch my eye slightly better.

This is what I have heard about pulsing lasers too. Give them both a try and see what you like.

I think it has something to do with how the eye works. Somthing about how the eye will pick up motion faster than it will pick up a stationary object.

Just set it to "stun" and you won't even have to shoot the PF-9...
