The above book has just been released this month and I had the opportunity to purchase and read it today and can highly recommend it to THR.

Cramer focuses upon the Colonial period, the Revolution, and the Early Republic (to Mexican War) to give a detailed refutation of the academic fraud of the Left that early Americans did not possess firearms. Using the source material of colonial statutes, logs and diaries of travelors famous and not, letters, autobiographies, inter alia Cramer provides insight into just how widespread gun ownership was in early America and how Bellesiles deliberately lied (intentionally modifying quotes and making sources from whole cloth) in his progrom/class war against guns.

I find it incredible that the discredited Stalinist revisionist history of Bellesiles and Cornell still find an audience. However, thanks to Clayton E. Cramer the revisionists stand out as the frauds they are.:)

I had to go to four bookstores before I found it today, but it was worth it. Go buy it and then buy another copy for a friend or your local library. With any luck we'll put it on the NYT Bestseller list.:D
