I have an armi san marco brass frame remington 1858 new model army and was looking to buy a steel frame. I know where I can get a steel frame, but I don't know who makes it. All I know is that it was distributed by navy arms while they were in new jersey. I know that navy arms distributed uberti, pietta as well as armi san marco. So I was just wandering if my armi san marco parts will fit with either a uberti or a pietta frame. Thank you.

Don't bet on it. While there is a slim chance that the two may be compatible, It's more likely that they won't .
As an example, One of my BP replica 1858's is a Navy Arms (made in 1973) that was originally made by Pietta. I also bought a short 5 1/2" barrel Pietta 1858 about 5 years ago from Cabela's so that I could put a R&D .45LC conversion cylinder in it.
Get this: The BP cylinder from the 5 1/2" pistol works perfectly in my Navy Arms/Pietta 1858, and the R&D conversion cylinder works perfectly in the newer short-barrel 1858, but the R&D does NOT work in my old Navy Arms/Pietta 1858.
Go figure.....

I have used ASM parts in a Uberti gun; internal parts. I haven't changed out cylinders or anything like that.
If you can find out without spending money it's worth a try.
I do recall having a qualified gunsmith fix a ASM Remington 58 for me, and I provided the part. It wasn't an ASM part (I think it was Pietta but I am not sure) and I told him that but he said it "didn't matter," it would fit right by the time he got through with it.
Bravado, or "knowing his business??"
Well, the gun worked perfectly when I got it back.
I would say small parts might be fitable with the judicious use of a Dremel, or file, while bigger parts like barrels and cylinders .... not so good.
If you can find out without spending money it's worth a try.
