I don't know if anyone else has tried one of these out buy I found mine to be a disappointment.
Shortly after buying it I found that it was cycling poorly with any ammo, like something was binding, and that it didn't work at all with HP ammo. Yes, I know that AK's are a military design that weren't made to work with HP ammo but that is a requirement for me. I have seen about 20 work with any ammo that fit in the mags so not working with HP ammo is BS to me. With ammo prices and shortages any gun I own needs to work with about every ammo available.
Anyhow, magazines were also excessively loose.
Back it went for repairs. This was about the end of August.
It came back last week and I was once again disappointed.
The mag wobble had been fixed to the point where the fit was so tight that they were hard to get in and out without using both hands and all my superhuman strength. I figured that at worst I could fix that with some filing though.
I also found that not only did the feeding problem still exist, I was now getting FTE's. This resulted in a live round feeding into the chamber with a fired casing trying to go in with it. Not fun at all and not my idea of a "repair".
I am still kind of dumbfounded at this. How could anyone make an AK not work? They make the damn things in shacks in some third world countries for crying out loud! How is it that the people who are supposed to know what they are doing can't get it right?
And after they had the rifle longer than I did no less!
The only good thing about it is that the store made it good by calling the company and getting a replacement rifle and by giving me a refund (which I used to buy a Glock 22).
This has put me on the search for another romanian AK (all that I have owned or tried have worked perfectly).
Anyhow, just wanted to share this with THR'ers and hopefully save someone some grief.

The thing that pisses me off the most is that they had the damn thing for three months and even after being "repaired" it still didn't work right.
What were they doing with it that whole time?
I think from now on I will stick with used guns. I have never been screwed buying on THR so whatever I want from now on will probably get looked for on here first.
