I finally located one of these for the Mossberg 500.
It requires a bit of minor fitting to install properly.
I had to thin down the left side where it impeded the bolt release.
The through-hole for the receiver bolt is drilled undersize and I used an O size letter drill bit to enlarge it enough to allow the bolt to pass freely.
The securing screws that came with my adapter are simple slotted machine screws.
These I replaced with a genuine Mossberg pistol grip securing screw and a genuine USGI Allen head pistol grip screw.
The supplied lock washers worked fine with these replacements.
The adapter fitted up to the receiver with no additional fitting and the receiver moulding is perfect with no gaps.
I chose an aluminum four position tele-stock to pair with the adapter and the stock installed on the adapter without issue other than the Armstech supplied lock washer had to be fitted to the tab on the adapter.
This was accomplished with a couple passes on the tab with a narrow Swiss file.
I added a CMI 3/8" rubber butt pad more to keep the gun on the shouder than for any recoil suppression quality.
I chose a Hogue rubber AR pistol grip, it went on without issue and fits perfectly.
This set-up with finger grooves, soft rubber construction and improved ergonomics is far better than a standard pistol grip and makes the gun more controllable.
While I did use this adapter on a Maverick frame with the triggerguard mounted safety button I cannot see where this adapter will cause any problems when used with a top tang safety.
In practice I did not have any problems accessing the area where a top mounted safety will lay and did not, at any time, lose control of the gun.
I wholeheartedly recommend the Hogue pistol grip with this set-up it does nothing but good for control.
Any AR telestock set-up can be used and you may find one that works better than the one I chose, mine is what I had in the parts bin and I may change it out for something more advanced in the future.
Recoil is no different with this set-up than with a conventional stock and is far more pleasant than using a pistol grip alone.
All in all, I am quite pleased with the TSA stock adapter and can recommend one to anyone looking for this type of set-up.

Thanks for posting this, I'm sure there's lots of folks interested.

I'm asking a favor. How about running a few COFs for both time and score with this setup, then mounting the old standard stock back on and shooting the same COF for comparison's sake? Posting the results will give us some real world data.

Thanks....

I realize no speed advantage between this stock system and a conventional stock, but then again I shoot M16 type rifles and M14 type rifles and the transition to a shotgun using either type of stock is not a problem for me.

I can say that the safety on the Maverick shotgun is easier and faster to reach using the TSA stock system verses a conventional shotgun stock.
A tang mounted safety may be a shade slower because a slight shift in grip is neccessary to access the top tang safety but I won't say that for sure until I use this system on a top tang safety gun.

I am not going to report a shooter will realize a speed advantage using this stock system.
The shooter needs to find that out for himself.

Cheek weld is excellent with this stock, better than the factory standard stock.
Bead lines up beautifully and no need to bolt other optics onto the gun to obtain a sight picture.
I think I chose a bad time to post this report when I see the Mesa Tactical thread but I consider this adapter to be on the same league with the Mesa Tactical even though it won't allow the option to bolt all kinds of goodies on the buttstock assembly that the Mesa stock system will.
Good stuff for shooters who are trying to maintain a budget.

Different strokes for different folks. It's all good!
