Arrogance at a local gun shop...

I've experienced a lot of "attitude" in local shops. Most experiences have been good, but there have been times I wonder how certain morons stay in business. I guess as they say, there's a sucker born every minute.

In this day of the internet though, I research and know EXACTLY what I want and the price I'll pay, if I'm going to buy, and ignore 99.9% of what any counter clerk tells me. If the price is right and they have what I want, great, if not, don't tell me that Xbrand 1911 is just as good as the one I wanted, cause you're wasting your breath.

I think the sad mistake a lot of newbies make is going into a gunshop for advice. Never ever do that. Sales pitches aren't advice, and never will be, and that's most of what you'll get in a shop.
