I just received the weekly specials from Budsgunshop.com and it had the Arsenal FC logo prominently placed within an ad for the SLR106-47. I think I know the answer to this question but I will ask anyway. Is the FC anyway related to the firearm company? If not I would suspect that the FC is going to be pretty upset if they find out.
 
I just called Buds to let them know.. I was hoping that Buds came out with a "Piers Morgan Special" since all that guy does is bloviate about Arsenal football and gun control.
 
No, they started out as a club team for the Woolrich Arsenal which later became the Royal Arsenal in England but have no current connections to any firearm. I see a lawsuit in the near future.

Based on what is posted now, I don't see any logo and no connection to Arsenal FC. I do see where the manufacturer is Arsenal but no connection to the club.

I believe it was only displayed on their weekly specials email. It did not appear on the site.
 
Most likely it went like this:
Marketing Mgr: "Hey we need some manufacturers logos in our next email flyer".
Summer Intern: "I can Google those"
 
Funnily enough, when I got into football I adopted Arsenal as "my" club in large part because of its origin with the workers at the Royal Arsenal in Woolwich. What better club for a firearms enthusiast than the Gunners?
