Has anyone here used these mags in their AR 15 pistols? If so, do they chamber well & how reliable are they? If posted in wrong forum, please move.

10, 20 or 30 round mags?

I've had no issues with the 10 round ones, but the 30 rounds usually have problems with JHP or JSP rounds if you load them fully. Often they've needed the spring from a real comblock AK mag or a Wolfe extra power AK mag spring to function at all.

Since the 30 round mags always seem fine if I only load 20 (or function fine after clearing a few feed failures in the first 10 rounds) I have some hope that the 20 round mags that recently became available will be the best solution. I've one but haven't had a chance to try it with JHP or JSP rounds, both WalMart and Academy only had FMJ when I went to get a few boxes to try.

I have a 16" 7.62x39 AR carbine and an 11" SBR, the mags work or don't the same in both guns.

Thanks for answering my post. I am interested in purchasing a couple of the 20 round mags, but was unable to find any reviews of them on internet. Will be interested in hearing how yours work out. Thanks again.

I have not used the ASC mags but all three of my new 30-round C Products Defense mags have been flawless for my 7.62 X 39 AR15.

Have you used JHP or JSP rounds? My most recent 30 round mags have all been fine out of the wrapper with FMJ so it looks like they've figured out the spring issues.

C-Products and ASC seem identical to me except for the nameplate on the bottom and some different finish options. And one of these also seems supply the "AR Stoner" brand that Midway sells. I've noted this on AR mags, 7.62x39 AR mags, and 9mm AR mags.

The black finish on stainless wears of easily.
