ASM screws

I am rehabing an ASM 1851 Colt brasser. I need the hammer, bolt and trigger screws. Of course they are not available.

I have heard that Pietta screws will fit. Anyone know if this is true?

Pietta screws have never fit my ASMs. Deer Creek Products bought out all of ASMs supplies and will have the screws you need.

VTI purports to have ASM parts. I bought a trigger/bolt spring from them for an ASM 1858 Colt Pocket Model and it was not even close. Beware and check closely.

Try Dixie. They had some screw sets that fit ASMs at one time.

You could always tap the holes to match what ever screws you can get your hands on.
It is not like an old ASM Brasser is likely to ever be worth anything more than a basic shooter and if you can make it a shooter, it will be at it's maximum potential regardless of what screws you use.
