Assuming you can't get to your gun, home defense alternative?

I have a couple of authentic Masai lion spears that would spoil you day. Also a quiver full of curare poisoned blowgun darts from the Amazon. Push comes to shove, a spray can of just about anything and a lighter makes a really good close range blowtorch.

BAAAAAAAD idea.
These days not everything out of a spray can is flammable.
Trying to get one lit is unreliable.
Aiming and then tracking a target is challenging.
It is one of the defenses that lends itself to real failure and is far to dependent upon luck.

I have spray cans of stuff in an adjoining room to where me and mommy spend most of our time.
BUT: The kids are long gone, no "little grandkids" so I'm at an advantage.
Most of my guns are in a safe but I have a 9mm near my computer,and an AK loaded with 20 rounds of Remington Core- Lokts near my easy chair.
The Wasp spray seems to be the stuff these days however.
