I was wondering what type of experiences you guys have had with the Astra Cadix .22LR revolver, which was made by Astra in Spain circa 1960-1968. Basically a copy of a Smith. What type of DA triger pull on these things? How about SA? Also, how is the trigger reach, especially in DA? What type of accuracy do you guys get out of yours? Is it an active firing pin system or some sort of transfer bar/ passive firing pin. Any other good knowledge floating around? :)

From everything I've heard, vintage Spanish revolvers are trouble.

Now, most of the reports to that effect involved earlier specimens but...in general, I have never heard very good things about 20th century Spanish small arms, period.

I can't tell you about a Cadix but I did buy an Astra NC6 .38 revolver recently and am very happy with it. I think that of the Spanish guns from the Eibar region that Astra's were some of the better ones.
