I picked a very nice little Astra Cub in 22 short Any one know where I can fin out year of manufacture .

I fired a couple mags of CCI thru it feed fine and pretty accurate I won't carry just another little mouse gun for the collection.

Thanks Rex B.

And I most definitely agree; one neat little pistol from another era.

FWIW: The Astra Cub was also sold by Colt as the Colt Junior in .22 short & .25 ACP between 1958 and 1968, when the 68 Gun Control Act banned import of them all.

IIRC, after 1968, Colt manufactured the "Colt Junior" (Astra Cub) in the USA under license until around 1972. Then Colt (or maybe Astra) sold the equipment and license to FIE in Florida, who manufactured their own version of the CUB (not to be confused with the FIE Titan) for awhile also.
My own Astra 2000 (.22 short Cub) was made in 1957. Yep, that old date code trick comes in handy.
