I picked this up about a month ago and I've grown rather fond of it, I prefer it's size to either my Sig 5" 1911 or the Colt officers model I have, the ATI isn't near as pretty as the Sig or colt but so far it has been reliable in function and actually has a better trigger and better slide to frame fit than the Colt, the Sig has it beat in both areas though, the sights are black on black so I found some pink finger nail polish in the bathroom and painted the front sight with it, really stands out now biggrin2.gif it has a tendency to shoot a little low so after 15 yards on out to 25 (as far as I've had it yet) I use a 6 o'clock hold and a little windage depending on where it's hitting.
The only thing that I have found to dislike about it so far is the finish, the parkarized finish does not stand up well to my alien grade sweat and will quickly form surface rust where it touches my elbow and side during the day, I have to remember to wipe it down every evening with an oil cloth when I take it off for the night. I have been carrying it in a Gould & Goodrich Jet slide that I use for the Colt Officers ACP and that works pretty decent but I'm either going to have to get Bang Bang to build me a "Shadow" for it or an "Alamo" to commit it to full time carry.

I have had the same pistol for a year now...about 3 thou rounds thru it...not a hiccup with either 200gr swc or 230gr ball...right after I got it I installed a 20lb
recoil spring and a Wilson shok-buff. A very good shooter.

I purchased the full size one with all the extras a few yrs back and take it out every pistol range trips, never a problem and it likes every mag I've put in it, I would put the fit a little less than my stainless Springfield but it costs about half, and the Springfield is picky about mags.
