I have seen one of these local for 300 in box, was wondering if anyone has any experience with it. I didn't get to handle it but it looked well built from behind the glass

I've seen positive reports on them, and then neg reports taking about bad fit and finish.

Me, I'll justs tick with the real deal :)

yeah, but I can't afford the real deal. I have been doing some searching and the only bad I can find is fit and finish, for nearly half the price of the real Beretta I might take the chance on the gun

Check CDNN. They have been selling them for $299 + five 17 round Beretta magazines. Yep that's right. Five 17 round mags with the pistol. Do a search on the forum. One of the posters here recently bought one and a S&W5906 at the same time from CDNN. He had a had good things to say about the ATI 92c.

I bought one of the full size ATI 92's from CDNN around a year ago for $299 + ship and am impressed with it. The fit is very tight and on par with any beretta I've handled, the finish is a little more military. Other than this having a non-chromed barrel, it is a mirror image of the first generation M9. My FFL guys slide fit on one of these like a glove and his is a beretta, the barrel also switched out, can't say anything about function withthem installed but appear t obe made from Beretta specs. I've put around 1,000 rounds through mine and have yet to have a malfunction of any kind. It also has used 4 beretta factory mags without any problems. I was so impresses with this gun I bought the Sarsilmaz K2-45 the same company makes and was imported through EAA(They sold the whole run to bill hicks). It is a mirror image copy of the Turkish military 14 + 1 .45ACP service pistol. After shooting it for a few months, I have to tell you the Turks make a fine pistol.

I liked the first one so much I bought a second one.
I liked the second one so much I bought a third one.:)

A friend that's been into guns about as long as me, since the mid 1950's, likes the gun so much he bought two.

A lady friend and her brother each bought one after shooting just a couple magazines.

The ATI C92 is the best seller at the small local gun store.

I shoot my first two a LOT (third one is unfired in the safe). Never a problem, even with different shooters and 6-7 different kinds of ammo.

I like my Berettas but I'll put the ATI up against them any day, any way.

The only thing I don't like about the gun is all that crap they have written on the side.

and the only bad I can find is fit and finish
The fit and finish of every one I've seen, 7, compares favorably to my Beretta.

I have one and have had a few undred rounds through it. It shoots and handles as well as any Beretta 92 compact. It's a good deal if you do not want to spend a few hundred $$ for the real stuff. I wuld give piece an A.

I have an AtI 1911 GSG that I love and people say horrid things about them. Although, mine is excellent except the finish is a bit cheesey. But I don't care, I can easily hit golf balls from 10~50m with it,.

AtI 92 copy

I have one, it is A+
This pistol, is cnc machined, meet nato specs and is an M9 clone, and has a metal trigger and guiderod . I find that it is equal to my Berreta at half price. I like the finish.

The local store just got in another ATI.
I closely looked it over and did find a couple very small blemishes in the finish.
Something that I wouldn't be too concerned about in a $400 pistol but I wouldn't accept in a $600 Beretta.

Here in TX at the large guns hows - NEW 92 Berettas can be bought all day long for $499. Granted, stores have them for $525-$575. But, the gun show is worth the deal.

In my opinion, the ATI copy MIGHT be worth the $299 price that CDNN charges - I personally prefer the real deal and would likely never buy the clone. However, at $400, I'd just go ahead and buy the real 92.

I have not seen a Beretta 92 under 580 in my local area ever. If I had the money I would also go and buy the real deal, but if I can get an exact copy for half the price I will

Interesting-or not, it has an all-steel trigger and guide rod. Not plastic. On the flip side, Girsan Industries reverse-engineered the action block and copied the first generation rather than newer versions meant to last longer. In any case, it passed the 8,000 round NATO standard and met the standard for accuracy. The one I shot demonstrated the same level of accuracy I have gotten with beretta pistols.

I have one of the ATI copies, although I have yet to take it to the range. It feels extremely well made. When you field strip it, each part looks perfectly formed, no tool marks or blemishes.

I also like how they attempt to package it nicely -- each gun comes with an oil bottle, a nylon cleaning brush, a real brass cleaning brush, and a cleaning rod to use to drag patches through the bore. If they had packaged it with two mags, I'd have been truly impressed.

That compact is a very nice looking gun, I think I'm gonna have to get me one, right after the CZ-75.

M2 Carbine's pics make me sad in the pants, because I got my AT92 from CDNN, thinking it would be satin like his, and instead it's black :(

My 3 ATI guns are darker than it shows in that picture. I would call them black.

I looked up another picture and it is also too light in color. Don't know why.

Darn if I saw any new $499 92 Berettas last year at the gun shows when I was hot to by one. Even the used ones in just fair condition were $500+.
