Hi i currently have an all numbers matching norinco sks. i am debating installing an ultralight folding stock to make it a better truck gun/more tactical. how is the quality? weight? and dimensions folded/unfolded? and LOP? thanks guys!

i've got a tapco tactical stock on my chinese sks and thought it would make it lighter over the wooden one but it didn't.:banghead: as for the norinco part, i've heard their worth more bucks than the traditional sks plus i've heard guys mention their a little more difficult to to install aftermarket parts. but i will justify that the pistol grip stock helps a bunch with those rifles.

I put the tapco t6 on my norinco and its like night and day shooting the rifle. I think the collapsed lop is around 13in, not possitive. If your gonna go tapco. Get the railed stock and get a front grip with it

I had a Yugo SKS that was in a TAPCO stock. While it was heavy it was a good solid unit.

I also picked up a great Norinco in the ATI stock that the OP is inquiring about. My intent was to restore the rifle to original configuration, which I have since done, but had ample time to form an opinion about the ATI. I wasn't at all impressed. The folding stock was extremely loose with a horrible lock-up. The wobble was horrible. Knowing what I know about the ATI Lightweight I wouldn't begin to consider it. The TAPCO stock is heavier but a good solid piece of work.
