If it's true about Soviet Warehouse liquidation via bribery and other dark pretenses, then I'd assume there are probably entire Ossetian arsenals that are still laying around in the mountains and other places.
 
I assume 12.7x99, Browning .50 cal...so an M2?

Last time we bought .50 caliber (12.7 X 99) ammo the 750gr. Hornady A-Max was $644.40 plus shipping per hundred rounds. You do well planned practice sessions when firing rounds that cost over $6.50 each.

Considering the point of sale, I think the good old lady actually procured a 12.7 x 108 gun. Probably a DShK variant. Its the Warsaw Pact equivalent to the BMG and was produced in bulk worldwide.

Hope granny has some upper body strength or a tripod. Power to the people!
