hey everybody, im new to this site and this whole "thread" thing in general. anyway im 16 years old and live in winston salem N.C. i just recently started shooting handguns with my dad and we would like to find somewhere we could shoot rifles/shotguns as well. ive heard of a place called the windy hill trading post where supposedly you can shoot handguns, rifles, and shotguns. any info on the place or anywhere else we could shoot rifles or shotguns would be greatly appreciated. thank you all and god bless.

Windy Hill is a pretty good outdoor range. They have a 100yd rifle/pistol line, and several shotgun stations (reputedly pretty good, but I've never shot at them). $5/hour, hours are pretty much bankers hours, though they are open saturday. Good luck finding the place though, I've only been there with a friend who knew his way.
