They ran the story, angle- "rush to buy assault weapons" on their Sunday 5 & 9 broadcast. They went to this months gunshow, but they were denied admissionand tried to talk to folks in the parking lot.
The 2 guys they talked to were actually doing a good job explaining that it was political and just a joke. I'm suprised they couldn't get a real bubba on film or decided not to.
I must say that they very trying very hard for accuracy by explaining the weapons weren't banned and explained only the folding stocks other parts were. They showed the Gov't charts showing a decrease in handgun violence and virtually no change in other firearm violence. Then the asst police chief comes on and lies about the impact about it all and says NOBODY uses Ar15's etc for recreation or hunting & that they have one purpose- to kill humans....
