I have a friend who looks for gold in Australia as a hobby. He told me about the gun ban that Australia had past and the following problems that this ban has caused. There has been more violent crimes commited due to the lack of self protection by the population, because of this ban that does not allow the people of Australia to own firearms. I was wondering, that, because of the current administration that exists in the U.S., if such a thing could happen here. If Obama, and his Marxist ways, were to make up an excuse to ban fire arms in the U.S., would we find a way to defend ourselves without guns, or openly fight to preserve our Constitutioal rights and freedom ? In Australia the people found ways to hide their weapons, PBC pipes, with watertight caps, buried throughout the countryside. My friend was told, by the people that he came into contact with, that many of the people had not turned in their firearms, they buried and hid them instead. I'm not sure what good buried fire arms are. I'm not advocating violence but I think fighting for your rights is better while everyone who has firearms has them, then when half of the fire arms are turned in! I am writting this thread to simply find out what people think, I know what I think and I hope I know what the average, real, American thinks, but please let me know what your thoughts are.
