Ballistics by the Inch isn't hard to use. Just subtract about 2" from the listed barrel length to get a revolver barrel comparison. For instance the velocity listed on BBTI for a 4" barrel ought to be pretty close to what a 2" snub will do for estimation purposes.
Alternatively, you can look on Buffalo Bore's website where they always list chrono'ed velocity out of several different real-world guns though I think the shortest they usually show for .357 mag is a 3".
