"I just spoke with Congressman Ramstad of Minnesota's 3rd Congrssional District. I know Jim and I told him that I know he voted for the Clinton AWB, and want to enlist his support this time around to let the law sunset and oppose efforts to revive it.
Jim stated to me "Why would we want to do that?" He stated NOT ONE firearm owner, hunter, or other Minnesotan has contacted him regarding the AWB sunset.
I pointed out that there is no evidence to suggest that the law did anything to reduce violent crime (CDC Report which he was unaware of), and that I can legally purchase and own a fully automatic rifle but I can't get new versions of the AR-15 semi-auto with three or more cosmetic items attached to the gun. He was also unaware that people could legally own full-autos by paying the transfer tax (maybe I should have used a different example?)...
At any rate, he apparently needs to hear from firearm owners in Minnesota and beyond!
Here is his contact info:

Wow! This Congressman has not heard from ONE constituent about the AWB.

A short note via classic mail (you know...with a stamp) every 4 weeks is the best, but a phone call or e-mail is better than nothing.
