I feel like L&P is going to be nothing but AWB this and AWB that. I wonder if a special forum would be appropriate. At a minimum, I wish the general topic could be confined to a few threads. In other words, please don't start a new thread for every thought on the subject.

Personally, my interest in guns has nothing to do with ugly rifles, although I certainly understand the implications of restricting access to them and the associated feature options. I have no problem picking through a few AWB threads, but I see this quickly moving toward being out of control.

Browsing various thread titles for possible interest takes real time. Segregating heavy volume stuff allows some reasonable confinement of scope.

For the time being, AWB II is paranoia, although apparently with considerable credibility post election. Already some of the comments from Schumer and friends are pretty disturbing but were to be expected in the scenario we now face.

If you want to reply to this post, please keep it about forum issues rather than discussing the AWB topic.

To be honest I don't think the Dems are going to be pushing for any AWB as hard as they did when WJC took office.

For one thing, far too many people own something that could be considered an AW. And these people are not gun nuts either.
