Considering the failure of the the gun industry liability bill, largely because of the attached gun show and "Assault Weapons" Ban (AWB) amendements, it looks at least a little bit more likely that the AWB will sunset this September. I've only gotten into shooting in the last few years and while I'm familiar with the details of the AWB I'm wondering about the exact effects of it's sunset. Let's say, hypothetically, that all goes well and the AWB does die a much deserved, unlamented death in September. What changes in the gun industry and the firearms available to us will we see and how quickly will we see them?
For example, I'd love to pick up some reasonably priced 13 rounders for my Glock 23. How quickly will newly produced standard capacity mags be available? Will they be cheaper than the current pre-ban mags?
Riflewise, what changes will we see?
Your thoughts are appreciated...
