With a shotgun it really doesn't matter to me, because I don't shoot trap. I buy the cheapest case (500 rounds) of #7 or 8 and head to the state game land, then set up some old soda cans or milk bottles or whatever, then blast away at various ranges.

Remington reduced recoil buckshot and slugs for self defense.

S&B Buckshot for stocking up, because its cheap.

What a strange question!

No indication of intended use.
So it would be very difficult to say if any recommendation we might make will be "Awesome" or not awesome.

"10 ga. performance with target load recoil"

"We believe that our 12ga. Magnum Waterfowl is the "World's Champion long range Performer." At 70 yards, our shot stringing and pattern testing show Pellet counts 50% higher than those reccommended as the minimum for effective pattern density. This performance is delivered with a recoil level 50% or more LOWER than any other shotload that "attempts" to compete. Even size 7 shot retains adequate pattern density and energy to kill BIG geese cleanly to 50 yards."

Yes, it's expensive. But really awesome.

"This kit contains 10 12 gauge TSS wads and enough Tungsten Super Shot to load 10 1.25 oz. shells. Wad column components are pre-assembled."
