Opening day (Mon.) was great for Dove here in Ks. Wind was 30 mph out of the south. Birds flying with the wind must have been going 110 mph, against the wind 25 mph. Made for interesting "change up" shooting.
The stock work paid off on the AYA. Actually had a double, which is no mean feat for me.
Cold front went through around 7:00 am Tues. Heavy rain and 55 degree high for the day.
Gave up on the Tues. hunt.
All in all a grand time. There's something special about "blooding" a new gun to me.
