Just recieved my new stock for my Savage 10FP. Great fit, after getting my blind mag to fully seat, but got one question for those who have a Tactical Medalist Stock. With the flat forend, how do you mount a Harris Bi-pod? The Bi-pod is designed for a curved forend, and this forend is just wide enough to not alow the spring bracket part of the bipod to seat. The springs will hit and f-up the stock. Looks like bags or front rest only for this thing:(

I just mounted my 9-13" Harris, and the spring base is different (no grooved roller) just has holes, and it just fits. My 6-9" has the grooved roller that the spring hooks on, and is a no go, at least one of them fits. Just noticed the front swivel stud was installed a bit off center, may have to use the 10 day satisfaction guarantee.

Aubie, does your Medalist have the wide, flat forend?

Yes, my stock has a wide, flat forend. I didn't know that B&C made them in different variants.

I wasn't too impressed with B&C when I called them about my stock. I hope you have better luck with them. The woman wasn't bad, but the explanation they gave to me was not what I was expecting.
