The first reply in the thread got it right, I prefer my GP100 in the 6" blued flavor. I had a Taurus Tracker 44 mag, Ive shot handguns for years and in my hands it was just to much noise and recoil to be a reliable sidearm.

Ruger GP-100 in 6". I don't know how the 4" shoots as far as accuracy, but the 6" is very accurate out to 75 yards for me and I'm only average with a pistol by my estimation. I love my Ruger GP-100 and would have to recommend it to anyone looking for a revolver.

I have an old S&W Highway Patrolman .357 4".
It's a big, heavy N frame that had been re finished. I got it for less than $400.
I have a couple of holsters for it including an old pancake holster that I can use to carry it under an untucked shirt.
To me, the Judge is a waste of time and money, but hey, it's your money...
