For those with an AMT Back Up .45, no way to carry it and no concern over how goofy it looks...
So amongst a pile of stuff that I agreed to buy in order to get some firearms were two "Sneaky Pete" holster-like-oddball-belt-purse-metrosexual-carry devices. The one marked for the M&P Shield 9mm seems to be a perfect fir fir the AMT micro .45 of mine.
For what these things are - they're very well made though I would need a trigger finger cut-out to make it really practical. The security with which the pistol is held is not done justice by the photo. Very snug. As long as the quality magnetic closure is not compromised while being jarred or inverted, the pistol is not going to escape. Clearly though - this is no tactical alternative so I think it probably hits the design parameters square in the middle. For the techni-kewel types out there like my brother in law, this would be near invisible on his Batman/IT-commando gear belt.
While I doubt that I'll use it - much, it does give me another target to shoot for in a concealed carry option for my Back Up... "Shield" holsters.
