NBC affiliate in Wichita tonight repoted on the Brady Campaigns rating of Kansas gun laws.
I can't remember the overall grade we got but we did get an A+ for not allowing concealed carry, an F for not requiring a locking device be sold with every firearm and an F for not requiring a NCIS check all purchases at gun shows.
They also reported that although Kansas does not allow CCW, the governor favors letting retired LEO's carry.

You do of course realize that the Brady Campaign rating a state on its level of gun safety is very much like the Klu Klux Klan rating a state on its level of racial equality.
On the same subject, Gov. Sebelius favors allowing only retired law enforcement officers to carry concealed weapons. Why does she feel that their lives and the lives of their families are more valuable than yours or mine?
