The web site shows no detailed pics, so you really can't tell much of anything. I just find it interesting that they moved pretty quickly to get a new site set up.

The ones I seen were marked both. I had to look at the Remington O/U for $400, but it became clear why it was so cheap when I seen BAIKAL stamped on it. IIRC, it is sold under Sportsmans brand, or something like that.

Wasn't a bad looking gun either. Another one to look at is the Khan O/U imported by Century. I almost walked out with a .410 the other day, lighest gun I have ever felt and a quite beautiful stock.

I don't shoot trap and skeet a great deal and so reckon the Baikal O/U is a pretty good deal. Probably not up to very heavy useage but it performs fine. I should never have parted with my Citori Hunter tho!

my friend's dad was going to sell me one of those, spartanworks 12 ga single shot NIB and a ted williams model 200 12 ga with a poly choke for $175

If you like inexpensive O/U shotguns, the Stoeger seems like a nice one. My brother has had one for about 4 years now and he has not had any problems. It is quite nice looking. You can find them at Dicks on sale for $279 sometimes. He got his on sale for $299 and I thought that was a great price.

I am not a fan of doubles because I always try to rack the forarm after the first shot. I am just too much of a pump gun shooter to try and change. I had to sell my auto for the same reason.
