I know you can't hunt Bald Eagles, but the hunting forum is about as close as I can come to a suitable posting location.

This pair of eagles laid three eggs around the first of January, at least six weeks early. The parents have been on the nest since then and the DNR says the chicks may hatch this week sometime.

With three eggs, the DNR says only two may make it, but sometimes there's enough food for all. The nest is located at an undisclosed location in the Mpls - St. Paul MN area.

We have a pair of nesting eagles near our new home southeast of Ellsworth WI.

Here's the url:

Wow that is way early. Hope they survive.

Utah is a winter hot spot for migrating baldies. My daughter and her fam live across the street from a nature preserve, so my grands get to look out their bedroom window at a dozen baldies fishing in the ponds.
