Hello there folks! Just thinking about this, as I have been working on a Star BM and watched some disassembly videos on the Star B, and I noticed how similar the parts look to the frame side of the Ballester-Molina .45s. I was curious, for anyone one who has had hands on both pistols, to see if the springs, trigger, and other things of the model B, might fit into the Ballester. Just was scratching my head on it and curious, I figured I couldnt be the only one to see such similarities and wanna fiddle with some of those parts.

Thanks for reading!

Mike

A Ballester Molina is significantly larger than a Star B or BM so I doubt there are any parts interchangeable between them. The slide and frame on a B or BM are shorter in height and narrower and the grip length from front to back is also shorter. The Star model P in 45 acp would be about the same size but I don't know if any parts can be interchanged.

BM were made in Argentina Star's pistols were made in Spain with no relation between Co's. Ballester Molina was a contract to replace original Colt made under contract (first batch were US made in the meantime factory tools were installed, in so for the rarity you can see some Winchester rifle in 45 acp.) During Peron's era, 45 acp, 22 pistols and conversion kit still exits around there.
