Cartridge : 125gr Cor-Bon JHP
Firearm : Bond Arms .357 Magnum Derringer with 3.0" barrel length
Block calibration : 7.9cm @ 580 ft/sec (Within tolerance for an ideal block)
All shots fired from 10' distance from the block.
Shot 1 - Heavy clothing shot. Impacted at 1317 ft/sec, penetrated to 10.9" and was recovered at 0.653" average diameter and 123.1gr weight.
Shot 2 - Overpenetration test. Impacted at '1001' ft/sec (chronograph malfunction), penetrated to 8.0" in gelatin and completely through an interior wall. Was found at the base of the second gelatin block. Recovered at 0.542" average diameter and 75.1gr weight.
